We are committed to saturating our region with the Good News of Jesus and we know we share that commitment with many other ministries. We wanted to come alongside and partner with those ministries to support their Kingdom efforts because we believe that God is deeply and powerfully moving through those efforts. With that desire, grants were awarded to a number of partners to support them in this common mission.
Here is what Christ Central Buffalo had to share about the grant awarded to them:
"Christ Central Buffalo exists to make Christ central to the individual, our church, our city, and our world. God has blessed us this past year by giving us a new church property in the town of Cheektowaga, a former Masonic Lodge, and has taken us a step further in our vision to reach our local geography with the gospel. In order to realize that vision in the lives of children and youth, our church has begun to renovate a storage garage next to the church building to become the site of Arrow Ministry, our discipleship center for kids and teens. Our goal is to finish interior renovations by summer to make a safe, clean, and creative space for children to worship, learn, and grow as little disciples of Jesus.
Planned renovations will require both professional and volunteer efforts, as well as construction materials. The project plan includes repair and waterproofing the building, adding of insulation, framing and drywall, installing an HVAC system, and updating the electrical system. With the grant from Church of WNY, we are able to ensure that the space we are devoting to the children of our church and community will be safe and comfortable. Our church extends thanks from the bottom of our hearts for your partnership in this wonderful gospel ministry!"
